The Delta State Police Command on Saturday paraded over 15 armed robbery and kidnap suspects.
At a month-end press conference at the Police Headquarters in Asaba, the new Commissioner of Police, Alkali Baba Usman, reflected on some of the successes recorded in the month under review.
He said among those under custody, is a robbery gang that attacked a bullion van on DBS Road, Asaba.
The incident led to the death of the actor.
The Dragon team, which made the arrests, recovered two AK 47 rifle magazines containing 56 rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition from them.
Another development was the rescue of a kidnap victim, Abemu Gabriel, a teacher attached to Oruodo Primary School in Ethiope East Local Government Council, abducted on October 5.
He said the police apprehended the hoodlums who kidnapped him at Utiuyo village in Okpara and that after the ensuing gun battle, some of the criminals were wounded, one shot dead, and the victim was rescued unhurt.
Also arrested were car snatchers, Okiemute and Onyemone Egiliga, driving in a Toyota Hiace bus with registration number Delta KLK 16 XA, snatched at Bright Hope Street, Airport Road, Warri.
Other members of the gang escaped with the bus, which was later recovered at Isagba Road junction along Airport Road.
Recovered arms and ammunition put on display included locally made single barrel guns, live cartridges, pump action rifle, AK 47 rifle magazines, English made double barrel gun, cutlasses, handsets, ATM cards, jewellery and different vehicles.
