Many times we as humans place our priorities on what is not supposed to be the major priority because we feel like there is no need for a long term plan. When we get involved in any activity the most important thing that should be considered is the value that we are adding and how many connections have been established.
The world seems to be very big but in the end, we discover that it’s not actually as big as we thought, the connections one builds today will be very beneficial to generations to come. If we focus on what we can collect very fast from the favors that we offer other than the connections that can be established that will bring great referrals, then we just might lose relevance in a very short while.
What you know how to do will make you grow tremendously if your focus is building connections other than what you can quickly get and get going. You need to take to heart that having long term success is much more important.
You need to immediately place value on the connections you are to make with your craft in other for you to help generations unborn and make the world a better place.
In the era of barter system of exchange, people were concerned about exchanging valuables for some of the funniest things that couldn’t even help them in any way and this forestalled some growth and development. If they had a full understanding that it was important to build connections other than exchanging their valuable treasures for things that are not so relevant then maybe the world could have been better than this.
It’s never too late for us to correct our wrongs, we just have to reorganize ourselves and set our priorities right then we can start building connections that will make us have long term success.
